In October of 2020, Fond du Lac Reservation was awarded all census block groups located within the reservation boundaries. Preliminary work was completed by Lyle MacVey, acting Director of Broadband, to ensure that FDL was able to participate in the auction. Unfortunately FDL was only able to recognize ~$1.2M out of the anticipated $4.5M+ that was initially projected to be made available due to WiSP bidding in the Gigabit Tier level.
