H2NET, INC

A long, long time ago, in a what now seems a galaxy, far, far away, H2Net, Inc began providing 28.8kbps dialup service using USR Robotics and PRI services. The world was just beginning to understand what the Internet was and how it allowed people to do very basic things, like email. At its peak H2NET hosted over 2000 subscribers with speeds of up to 128kbps using BRI modems. In 1999, H2Net was sold to another provider that was entering into the DSL market.
